Rio Grande Valley, TX — [August 10, 2025] — Buho Bookstore is proud to host a special meet-and-greet event featuring Selene Olguin, the youngest published author from the Rio Grande Valley.
Selene made her literary debut at the remarkable age of 11 with the release of her first book, Animal Tails. At 15, she followed up with A Journey Poetic, showcasing her continued growth and maturity as a writer. With a unique voice and inspiring creativity, Selene is quickly becoming a standout figure in the region’s literary community.
This event offers readers and aspiring young writers a chance to meet Selene in person, hear her story, and celebrate her accomplishments. Copies of A Journey Poetic will be available for purchase and autograph during the event.
